With thanks to our hosts the Balham Seventh Day Adventist Church, our last forum as was attended by 44 people, including representatives from community and voluntary organisations, CCG and Council Colleages and some councillors.

There were some lively discussions on Social Prescribing, with guest speakers Amrinder Seghal, Tanya Stacey and Dr Mohan Sekeeram

The forum heard a presentation from Councillor Paul Ellis, Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care and Health and Chairman of Health and Wellbeing Board Board, which invited the voluntary sector to nominate their own representative to sit on the Board.

THRIVE online, the rebranded family information service outlined their offer to families in Wandsworth, and shared how the WANDcard has benefited families across the borough, all supported by a dedicated team of parent champion volunteers.

We also heard from our voluntary organisations, Wandsworth Mediation Service and enjoyed a short video presentation from Free2b Alliance, an organisation that works with LGBTQ+ young people and parents to promote awareness.
